The first day was so great, I don't know how it could get any better, but i know it will.

Hello.
I've dissapeared for a while, sorry about that.
Paris is my new home.
I miss it, already.






 

I'm Leaving in t-minus 4 hours and 45 minutes
to take a 6 hour plane ride
to Paris, France.
Which has is 6 hours ahead of Boston.
So it will be 6 AM when i land.
And i could honestly not be more excited!

In an effort to get people to look
into each other's eyes more,
and also to appease the mutes,
the government has decided
to allot each person exactly one hundred
and sixty-seven words, per day.

When the phone rings, I put it in to my ear
Without saying hello. In the restaurant
I point at chicken noodle soup.
I am adjusting well to the new way.

Late at night, I call my long distance lover,
proudly say I only used fifty-nine today.
I saved the rest for you.

When she doesn't respond,
I know she's used up all her words,
so I slowly whisper I love you
thirty-two and a third times.
After that, we just sit on the line
and listen to each other breathe.

I'm ready for something beautiful.

Thinking of something insightful to say but all I want to do is go outside and watch the sun set
... which is exactly what I'll do. 

 

I wish it were warm enough for me to go outside and look at the stars. They're so calming. It grounds me to know that there a much bigger things and much bigger problems in the universe than the ones I have to deal with. I'm so glad that I'm not "God"... i dont think i could deal with all that pressure.
